There is thickening and signal hyperintensity of the subscapularis tendon representing mild-to-moderate
tendinosis.
The supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor tendons are normal. The biceps tendon is intact with normal
location in the bicipital groove.
There is signal hyperintensity within the superior labrum which has a vague linear appearance extending
laterally, consistent with a SLAP tear. This finding extends to the posterosuperior labrum.
The articular cartilage is uniform. The bone marrow signal is normal.
There is mild capsular thickening and edema especially at the axillary recess, consistent with adhesive
capsulitis.
No joint effusion or bursal fluid. No evidence of loose body. The muscles are normal with no atrophy.
IMPRESSION:
1. SLAP tear of the superior through posterosuperior labrum.
2. Tendinosis of the subscapularis tendon.
3. Capsular thickening and edema consistent with adhesive capsulitis.
